The Pyramids and the Sphinx at Giza

The only remaining wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
Located at the edge of the city, they stand as proof that one of the world's most powerful and knowledgeable civilizations existed on our planet and were Egyptian. The Pyramids Complex at Giza consists of Cheops Pyramid (Kufu), Kefrein Pyramid (Khafraa), Macarius Pyramid (Mankaraa) and the guardian of the Pyramids, the statue of the Sphinx with its lion Body human head The biggest and the most interesting pyramid is Cheops ( Kufu )Pyramids, it is the most remarkable building in existence on our planet today. It was built with such precision that our current technology cannot replicate it. This pyramid is so precisely constructed that until recently, and with the advantage of laser measuring equipment, scientists were not able to discover some of its subtle symmetries. Among other aspects, there are also very exact geometric relationships between all the structures in the pyramid complex at Giza. It is facts such as these that should raise questions as to the commonly accepted (and mostly mistaken) interpretations of its purpose, history and construction, as well as the history of our society, and especially the so-called 'pre-history' of mankind.

The Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is one of the world's great museums. Any visit to Egypt deserves a visit to the Egyptian Museum. Opened in 1902, it's a classic Victorian style. It hosts about 120,000 of the finest pieces of the ancient Egyptian civilization. One major highlight is the famous Pharaoh Tutankhamen tomb collection on the museum's upper floor. The tomb of "King Tut" (as he is better known) was found remarkably intact by Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings in 1923. Artifacts on display include the gold funerary mask and sarcophagus, four huge gilded boxes that fit inside each other, an ancient trumpet, thrones, and even a royal toilet seat. Also upstairs is the royal Mummy Room, which houses 11 royal mummies from pharaonic times, the most interesting is the Mummy of King Ramsis II the most powerful and famous Pharaoh in Egyptian history.

Khan El Khalili Bazzar

Jump on a flying carpet and step back in history to the time of Aladdin. Soak the atmosphere in Khan El Kahlili bazaar. Established in the 14th Century, and in constant use since then, Khan al-Khalili (or more simply, The Khan) in Egypt at its most intoxicating. Cairo has always been an important trade center, and this tradition continues today in the bustling maze of alleys that forms Khan al-Khalili Bazaar.
The Khan itself is relatively small and is largely devoted to tourists as well as locals. There are souvenirs here for every taste and budget: spices, jewelry, inlaid mother-of-pearl boxes, and backgammon sets, water pipes, scarves, lamps, delicate perfume bottles (and the perfume to go in them)… you can even get yourself singing, dancing camel! Why not test your skills with an apple-flavored water pipe (Shisha) while enjoying a sip of mint tea on one of the famous cafes of the khan and watch the world going by.
